Dear Friend,
God knows and cares about your incarcerated loved one. There are many ministries that are going into prisons. For some inmates, had it not been for prison, they would have never taken the time to sit and listen to a sermon about Jesus Christ. As a result of being incarcerated many have given their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. God went on to say in the Bible that when you visit those incarcerated you visited Him. Matthew 25:44-45 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.” God is sharing with us that He has a great heart for those incarcerated and takes personally what you do for them.
We’re glad that the Lord has allowed Free Prison Books to be an extension of His love for the incarcerated and with great excitement we would like to say that the Monthly Bible Study for inmates is going out in May to be ready for June. So don’t worry about the incarcerated, because God knows and cares about them and has given His only son Jesus Christ to die for them that they might be changed. You cannot reach your incarcerated Loved one, but God is behind bars with them. God will never stop trying to reach your Loved one, so be comforted.
If you would like to share with our readers how you deal with a loved one or friend being incarcerated please email us your testimony. We will go through the ones we receive and use some for the Newsletter. Please limit your testimony to one page and include a picture of yourself if possible.
We send the books and this Newsletter free of charge. Pray about helping us on a monthly basis by donating any amount. Anything you are able to do will be greatly appreciated.
Yours in Christ,
Pastor Frank M. Bafford, Sr.
